It is possible to use only part of the product and not the entire package. The important thing is to respect the proportion of colouring cream and activating milk 1:1.

The post-colouring treatment is part of the colouring routine. As a result of its acid pH component, it helps restore the hair’s normal pH and makes the hair’s cuticles close properly, giving the hair a shiny and healthy appearance. This way, the colour will last longer.

We recommend applying a rich cream around the contours of the face so that the colour doesn’t stain the skin. If this should happen, we recommend removing the stains with the help of biphasic make-up remover or cleansing milk.

For very thick or long hair, we recommend using several packages

We recommend evaluating one’s own hair growth needs. Therefore, for some it may be necessary to colour their hair every 3 weeks and for others once every one and half months may be sufficient.

It is important to follow all the colouring steps, paying special attention to the colour’s processing times. The final step must not be skipped since use of the post-colour treatment helps to close the hair’s cuticles, giving a shinier result and making the colour last longer.

Our formula is self-rinsing and, therefore, it is not necessary, actually not recommended, to use shampoo for removal. The formula contains mild surfactants that water alone can remove the excess colour.

Flowertint is not tested on animals and has been certified Vegan OK. The formulation is 86% natural but despite this, it is still a permanent colour.

Flowertint is an oxidation colouring, therefore with penetration of the pigments inside the hair and a permanent result, whereas Henna is one of the colouring herbs that changes the colour of hair when deposited onto it. Alternating between one and the other is not recommended.

Of course! However, in this case, the first time it is used, it must be mixed in a bowl. This is to be able to close the two containers well for storage, i.e. the colouring tube and oxidising bottle separately. Only good product storage (products tightly closed, stored away from light and in a cool place) can guarantee subsequent use without any risk of alteration.

Use a weighing scale to weigh the amount to be used: the colour proportion is 1:1; therefore, the same amount of colouring cream and activating milk will be used

The activating milk contains oxygen at 20 volumes.

Il cloro della piscina risulta aggressivo per capelli e colore. La durata del colore dipende dalla frequenza con cui ci si espone al cloro, dalla struttura del capello (più o meno resistente, più o meno poroso) e dalla frequenza dei lavaggi in generale.

The chlorine in swimming pools is aggressive for hair and colour. Duration of the colour depends on the frequency with which one is exposed to chlorine, the hair’s structure (more or less resistance, more or less porous) and the frequency of washing in general.

Products on the market are, by definition, safe. However, in such cases, it is recommended to consult your doctor before any use. If in doubt, refrain from use.

Flowertint does not contain ammonia. However, as indicated on the package and in the instructions, a sensitivity test must be performed before using the product, even if the customer has already used colouring products in the past. The absence of a reaction in the sensitivity test does not guarantee the absence of an allergic reaction in the colouring process.  In case of a reaction (to know about the symptoms, read the instructions for use carefully), immediately stop using the product, rinse with water and consult your doctor.

Perform a sensitivity test 48 hours before using the product, even if the customer has already used colouring products in the past. This test is an important precaution. The absence of a reaction in the sensitivity test does not guarantee the absence of an allergic reaction in the colouring process. Sensitivity test: Clean a small area of the skin behind your ear or in the crease of your elbow, apply a small amount of product (colour and oxidising agent), leave to dry. Wait 48 hours without washing. In case of a reaction such as redness, swelling or itching, consult your doctor. If in doubt, please contact a doctor. If a reaction occurs during or after a colouring process, such as: itching, burning, irritation or rash on the skin or scalp that spreads rapidly, dizziness or weakness, shortness of breath and/or swelling of eyes/face, blisters and/or oozing of the skin or scalp, rinse immediately and stop using the product since this could be an indication of a serious reaction. Immediately consult a doctor and do not colour your hair again without having contacted your doctor again. This product contains ingredients that may cause severe eye irritation and possible permanent eye damage.  If you are wearing contact lenses during application and the product comes in contact with your eyes, remove the contact lenses, rinse your eyes immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not inhale or ingest the product. Avoid unnecessary contact with the skin. Do not use if the hair has been dyed with henna or metallic salts. Remove all metal objects, for example clips or hairpins from the hair before colouring it and keep them away during the entire colouring process. Do not use metal objects. Do not mix this dye with other products. Do not store the unused product. Do not leave the mixture in a closed bottle (it may swell and burst).

All cosmetic products on the market are safe.

Flowertint covers white and grey hair perfectly. However, the end result always depends on the hair’s structure. Do not exceed the processing times provided in the instructions since it does not lead to greater coverage.

The dyes do not contain I parabens and SLS

It is a secondary amine that can give rise to nitrosation reactions (reaction product: nitrosamine), a substance used as a dye in hair dyes both in combination with and without an oxidizing agent (e.g., hydrogen peroxide). This substance has been evaluated for its irritating, sensitizing, and mutagenic power and as such not considered safe in its use as a dye in hair dyes.
